About the owner:
James Brockett, owner of Rocky Top Inc, graduated in 1969 with an associates degree in electronics. Hired to Hoskins Electronics in 1969 and soon became owner and changed the name to "Rocky Top Electronics". Several factory certifications were earned over the years with warranty service status for over 30 companies. In 1981 he achived an Advance license in ham radio. Currenty his Ham call license is NV7JB. From 1990 through 2009 he also worked as an engineer in the hotel industry to support all aspects of electronic repairs as well as operations of his company. He currently operates a home town favorite electronic repair center of more than 50 years, Rocky Top Electronics.
RATES
$25.00 deposit is required for smaller equipment as vcr's, dvd, or cd players. Receivers, amplifiers, consoles, and tv's larger than 32 inch screen size will require a $45.00 deposit at time of drop off. This will insure for a complete estimate. That fee applies to the repair price when estimates are authorized. Repair prices vary as to type of equipment, time to repair, and parts required.
